We use filtered water as the basis for the production of our products.

This synthetic substance, based on the glucose of sugary plants, is an emollient and, in our opinion, a better alternative to mineral oils. We use hemisqualene for its skin-conditioning properties, but also to improve the texture of our products.

Our sunflower oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins. It's a mild, light conditioning oil that absorbs quickly into the skin without clogging pores. It contains vitamin E and other antioxidants that protect the skin from free radicals and environmental stressors. Its anti-inflammatory properties help reduce skin irritations such as redness.

A natural moisturizer derived from corn and sugar cane, among other ingredients. It also has the ability to deliver active ingredients deeper into the skin. We use pentylene glycol in our acnederm products for its moisturizing and antimicrobial properties.

A blend of medium-chain fatty acids, also known as MCT oil. The triglycerides derived from coconut and palm kernel oil have a light, non-greasy texture, making them particularly suitable for oily or acne-prone skin. Their cleansing properties also act as natural, mild surfactants.

The polyunsaturated essential omega-6 fatty acid is an effective anti-aging substance and occurs naturally in various oils, such as sunflower and olive oil. Linoleic acid is important for the structure of the skin's outermost layer as it is a component of ceramides. It thus supports the skin's barrier function and resilience. As a component of the "natural moisturizing factor" (NMF), it also provides a high level of moisture. Due to its powerful anti-inflammatory properties, linoleic acid is also frequently used for acne-prone skin.

We extract our citric acid from plant substrate through a fermentation process. The resulting substance is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA).
